Hogs End Auburn Winning StreakFayetteville, Ark.-Pat Bradley, Derek Hood and Kareem Reid enjoyed their Senior Night with big performances against the Tigers. Their efforts led the Razorbacks to a 104-88 upset basketball victory over the second-ranked Tigers on Wednesday night.Auburn's defense, which had been allowing just 59.2 points per game, was burned early and often by the Razorbacks, who hurt Auburn from behind the three-point arc, on the fastbreak and on second chance baskets. It was a second straight homecourt victory for the Razorbacks over a Top 10 team. On Saturday, Arkansas defeated Kentucky, which was ranked sixth at the time. Bradley made five of seven three-pointers as he passed former Tennessee star Allan Houston to become the leading three-point shooter in SEC history. The 6-2 guard led the Razorbacks in scoring with 23 points. Hood, a 6-8 center, made nine of 11 field goals as he scored 18 points and led all rebounders with 13. Reid, a 5-10 point guard, scored 10 points, dished out 10 assists and had just one turnover. Chris Walker, a 6-5 sophomore forward, added 21 points for the home team. Auburn, which had won eight straight games, falls to 25-2 overall and 13-2 in the conference. Arkansas improves to 20-8 overall and 9-6 in the conference. Chris Porter led Auburn with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Joining him in double figures in scoring were Scott Pohlman with 14 points, Daymeon Fishback with 13 and Bryant Smith with 11. Mamadou N'diaye scored eight points, Doc Robinson added seven, Adrian Chilliest and McGadney added four points and Jay Heard scored three. Auburn, which had won the first meeting with Arkansas 83-66 on Jan. 6th at Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum, out-rebounded the home team 50-46. Auburn had 13 turnovers to 12 for Arkansas. Auburn made 16-21 foul shots and hit 10-29 three-pointers. Arkansas hit 22-31 free throws and 12-30 three-pointers. Auburn led early, but Arkansas took advantage of second and third chance opportunities on the offensive boards to pull steadily pull ahead. The Razorbacks led 44-40 at halftime after Porter hit a three-point buzzer beater. The Tigers tied the game at 49-49 early in the second half, but Arkansas quickly built a double-digit lead and the Tigers never made a serious run the rest of the evening. Auburn closes the regular season with a 2 p.m. Saturday home game at Mississippi State. Regardless of that outcome, Auburn will be the top seed for the SEC Tournament in Atlanta, which means a first round bye for the event than runs March 4-7 at the Georgia Dome.
