Sparrow, 6-2 from Shelbyville, Tenn., has received honors each of her three college seasons. She was a junior college All-American as a freshman at Central Florida Community College. Last season at Auburn she earned first team All-SEC status after averaging 19.2 points and 7.4 rebounds. This season, she is averaging 14.7 points and 7.5 rebounds.

Hamilton, 5-10 from Bainbridge, Ga., is the most improved player on the Auburn team. She averaged 7.4 points and 4.7 rebounds as a freshman. This season those numbers have jumped to 14.7 points and 6.7 rebounds.

Sparrow and Hamilton return to action Friday at 6 p.m. CST as Auburn faces the winner of fifth-seeded Alabama vs. 12th-seeded South Carolina at the SEC Women's Basketball Tournament on the campus of the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. The last time the tournament was played there, two years ago, Auburn swept through the field to earn the automatic NCAA Tournament berth. Auburn is 19-7 overall and 8-6 in the SEC, which makes the Lady Tigers the fourth seed.

First team picks include Player of the Year Chamique Holdsclaw of Tennessee and her teammates Tamika Catchings and Semeka Randall along with Kelly Miller of Georgia and Dominique Canty of Alabama. The other second team members are Coco Miller of Georgia, Jennifer Fambrough of Mississippi State and Tonya Washington from Florida.
